Crowds turnout for annual dinghy race
The Countess Sondes fired the starting gun on the third annual dinghy race held in Faversham Creek Basin. The event is organised by the Faversham Creek Trust and was watched by crouds long the banks and on the bridge.

Open Farm Sunday is Back
Open Farm Sunday is once again being held at Badlesmere Court Farm, part of Lees Court Estate. This progressive dairy farm will be opening its barn doors from 12noon until 4pm on Sunday 7th June. Come along to see the cows being milked, have a tractor and trailer ride and sample the fares of local producers.

Let’s Go Batty
On Thursday, 11th June, the Estate is hosting an evening of discovery. Come and find out what is out and about at your bedtime. Starting at 9pm at Sheldwich Village Hall, the walk will take you around the field margins and to the Estate's Community Orchard. This free event is organised by the Kent Downs Organisation. The Estate Team and Friends Celebrate
On Monday, 3rd February, 65 members of the Lees Court Shoot - beaters, pickers-up, loaders, tenants, neighbours and friends gathered at Yeungs Li Restaurant to celebrate winning the 2013 Bronze Purdey Award.
Everyone received a scrolled copy of the Purdey Award Certificate, and those who had been instrumental in the Estate achieving the Award received a large framed copy from Lady Sondes.
It was a jolly evening!
